About MeL

Merrill Haber has had a life long passion for art and design. Having first studied at Pratt Institute, Mel went on to build prodigious career in the publishing industry as a designer. He started at Macmillan and Grollier in the early sixties and went on to Prentice Hall. Next, he began a 28 year long career at McGraw Hill where he served as Art Director of the College Book Division in New York. Mel received numerous industry awards for his designs and work throughout his career. After retiring, Mel was able to reignite his passion for art exploring a wide range of subject interests with water color as a primary medium.
